It was a fairytale day for the ones who attended the fashion show.As always,the runway was fit to let the dress shine in all its glory.
Elie Saab took the idea of "clothes too pretty to be real" to another level Wednesday with his spring 2015 couture collection, shown in Paris. On a tree-lined runway, Saab showed a collection of dresses that looked like something out of a fairy tale -- a fairy tale in which the wardrobe is incomprehensibly beautiful and romantic.
The collection begins with long, slinky gowns in washed-out hues with sparkly appliqués and embroideries, some with a smattering of feathers on the sleeves or along the bodice. Dresses gradually get more structured and ornate, with layers of ruffles, head-to-toe shimmering beading and colorful, oversized flower appliqués. The models' Veronica Lake hair looked particularly glamorous with a range of black, sparkly gowns, while an over-the-top, rainbow-hued "wedding" gown, modeled by Anna Cleveland, spanned the entire width of the runway.
The models wore dresses made of Lace ,some furs .The dresses varied in length from long to short-Princess like to sexy to short and sweet.The colors are in sync with the mood-blush,white,gray..You'd think that you'd be bored of watching lace too often but Saab creates beauty ,the dresses are nothing but short of a piece of art.
Elie Saab ,being a Red Carpet favourite..I won't be too surprised as to when I see one of the dresses in the upcoming award season.
